A little bit about who I am...
I’m Jess! My name is Jessica, but when people call me that I know they must not really know me. 🙂
I’m a Jesus lovin, crunchy hippie, Mama to 3 kiddos, and wife to my high school sweetheart.
Real nourishing, from scratch food is my love language and you can usually find me in the kitchen baking something delicious for my family and friends – with the diffuser going and worship music (or classical music) on blast.
My health journey got kicked off when, as a teenager, I went to an OB for severe cramping which led to me being put on the birth control pill. After dealing with some horrific side effects from that pill I decided I was done with that.
Once we were ready to have babies, I was finding that my hormones were even more messed up than before and we struggled to get pregnant. Eventually a friend connected me with a midwife who suggested a natural progesterone serum and here I am now with 3 wonderful gifts from God!
Motherhood has been quite the journey for me. I feel I was very underprepared for what to expect in motherhood. Turns out, motherhood can feel incredibly overwhelming and lonely. The mental load alone is quite a shocker.
Three kids in, I feel I’ve gained so much insight and wisdom into how to experience more peace and joy in motherhood. I’ve overcome a lot of struggles and now have such a heart to support other women who are also in the season of mothering young ones!
I know what it’s like to struggle with infertility, crazy hormones, postpartum anxiety, mom rage, exhaustion, chronic fatigue, digestive troubles, eczema, and more. I spent many years undernourished and fighting for joy in motherhood.

Is this course just for moms with young kids?
This course is definitely geared toward Mothers with young children. However, there are many principles and tips that would still be beneficial for mothers who already have older children. The nourishment section has many tips on how to properly care for your mind, your body, your soul and your hormones.. which is important for mothers of any age!
Are religious beliefs or teachings integrated into the content of this course?
I think that even if you don't hold to the same beliefs as me, there are many things to glean from this course. But since my faith is a huge component of my mothering, you should know it is very much interwoven throughout.
Would this be helpful for moms to be?
Yes! This is exactly the kind of course I wish I had before having kids. I feel like it would have set me up for so much more peace and joy in motherhood!
